Who We Are
Arguimbau & Company is one of the oldest specialty product import agents and distributors in North America. Arguimbau & Company was founded in 1890. Its predecessor company, Maynard & Child, was founded in 1821. It is the 85th oldest continuously family-owned company in the United States.
Headquartered in Darien, Connecticut and with satellite offices in Los Angeles, California and Milan, Italy, Arguimbau & Company has been Specialty Food and Product Importers to the United States for over two centuries.
What We Do
Arguimbau & Company focuses on importing a wide variety of table olives, olive oils, capers, peppers and mixed antipasti. We represent specialty food exporters and clients from all over the world, including Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Egypt.
Arguimbau & Company offers specialty food brokerage, importation and distribution services in the United States and Canada. Through its network of affiliates and contacts, we also offer warehousing, customs, logistics services, mergers, acquisitions and related financial services.
